Broccoli 'Gypsy'

A better performer than several I have tried. Main shoots are medium large (6-7") (despite little critters chewing holes in their leaves)...Read More and taste good. Few side shoots (1-2") so far. Every one I planted ripened about the same time, so next year I'll have to stagger the seedings.

This one did not perform well for me. The heads were small and it did not like our fluctuating winter temps.

It is earlier than advertised. Central heads are small ( 6 inches) with medium bead. Plant is large, so should set multiple sideshoots. An ok cultivar, but there are several I like much better.
