While I have had challanges attempting this in the de...Read Moresert, I have been successful by being very strict on the watering schedule since I have to keep it containered. I do this because the winters gets just cold enough and for just the right length of time to kill them, just barely. So sunny windows in the winters and lots of watering in the summer and I have a mango tree. I grew a "Julie" back in the 90's and got one mango from it which I shared with four other people.
