It is about 10 days earlier than the Carolina Belle. ( I try to have fresh peaches from the earliest to the latest) It does not set a profusion of peaches. I have never had to thin it and sometimes the yield is abysmally low. Flavor is good but cannot match the belles.
Grows well in the Western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. More resistant to peach leaf curl than Redhaven which I also grow.
