I grow it in semi-shade and it multiplies well.

Like all tiarellas, it needs a deep humusy soil to thrive, but once it is established, it is a carefree woodland plant.
In warmer zones it is evergreen, but in cold winter areas it may die to the ground. Flowering is not affected.
