I keep it in a small pot in a cold greenhouse in a fairly shaded spot. I repotted it early this year and found 10 small bulbs, much bigger than the parent was originally, and placed them in a separate pot to grow on. I grow them in a mix of Peat moss, gritty river soil and leafy compst. This plant is easy to grow and quite hardy, but I have not tried it outside although it has been through frosts as low as -9C.
