Each cane is delicate and often times cannot hold the cluster of flowers. The leaves are prone to black spot and mildew. However, the rose bush flowers repeatedly. The scent is mildly sweet. It's a beautiful rose so I may try planting these again, only this time purchasing "own-root" vs. "bare-root".
