Grows to about 5 feet tall and round, does well in a mixed border and thrives in full sun or light shade. Lightly prune after flowering and you may get an extra scattering of flowers. Use prunings as cuttings.
Really tough, will take harsh winters, just prune out old, dead wood when growth starts again.
My number one rose, especially for poor soils (I garden on chalk) and I'd recommend this old rose to anyone.
