I kept thinking I should pull it out, but didn't. This year it has many flowers at last! They are a charming intense mauve-pink. The hydrangea is rather skimpy -- about 2 1/2 feet tall and about as wide. All in all, I'd say they are difficult to grow in our region, but might do ok with a LOT of patience.
