I have it in a large/medium container and the first year it did a whole lot of nothing. At the beginning of year two, it broke almost in half. I had almost given up hope, but kept it happy just in case.
We're on whatever-too-many-to-count days over 100 degrees in central Texas and this thing just keeps spittin' out blooms! They only last a day or two each, but every day is four or five more. And it's about 8 feet tall now in the planter! Doesn't ask for much, just some sun and a bit of water every once in awhile. Looks amazing among the roses!

Most tropical hib. do not survive in my mild winter but this one does. Very low maintenance, so far very hardy, fast grower, floriferous
