Beautiful d...Read Moreinner plate size blooms (do tend to wilt and turn brown if rained on) I cut the canes back in late winter/early spring, they come back late spring/early summer, slow to come up, but once they do, they grow rapidly and soon start budding. To gather seeds, wait for the petals to fall off, let the center pod grow until approx. 1 inch long, pop off the whole seed pod, cut open and harvest the seeds inside. Wrap the seeds in a damp paper towel, put in a plastic baggie, place in the refridgerator. I put 18 seeds in the fridge 3 weeks ago and 7 have sprouted.
