I bought it on impulse at an end of season sale (I've been trying to hold out for the reblooming varieties) but took a chance on this one anyway. I was afraid it would turn out to be boring, with the riot of color I have going on around it, but not so. I only have one clump and can't wait until I get to divide it and spread this beauty elsewhere in the yard.
Princesse Caroline was a last minute addition to my iris order last year, and is now one of my top 10 favorites. If it's placed in a bed...Read More with darker more intense blues, it provides good color contrast. Spreads very quickly. Will stand up well to windy and wet weather.
