Perhaps this isn't a specimen plant, but it's a wonderful companion, and much more slug resistant than hostas! It has hairy leaves that remain undamaged all year. I just lifted and divided it a few weeks ago, and they are all carrying on as if I never touched them. Definitely a keeper.
