UPDATE 4/25/21: it is recommended it be pruned to 6” to maintain its dwarf shape. I did minimal pruning and now have a 1.5’ tall x 3’ wide shrub. Have made a mental note to prune it to 6” in future to maintain its dwarf size. It wants to grow!
