Like nearly all hardy geraniums, prefers to be in the ground in rich soil, but will do just fine in pots. If cut back and side-dressed with compost, it will often put out a second flush. Spreads nicely into a low (about 3"), dense mat, but does not invade. Slight peppery fragrance to the leaves and some fall color, even here. Such a useful plant - wouldn't be without it.
The cultivar name is 'ABPP'. "Crystal Rose" is a trade name.

According to the patent application, it differs from 'Westray' primarily in having a much shorter petiole and scape length, which results in a more compact plant and places the flowers just above the leaves.
