However, I thought the taste was bland. ...Read More It is growing right beside Celebrity which has a fantastic flavor. Anyone else thought Mountain Merit was bland tasting? My next MM tomato will be ripening soon and I look forward to the next taste test. Maybe the first one was an outlier.

Harvested ripe in August 2018. In 2019, after colder,& rainier than average Summer when everything was a month late, they ripened September. No disease issues, average productivity. Good clean appearance, and even ripening. Juicier than Old Brookes and Hungarian Heart which normally produce average to above average in our microclimate.

Good prod...Read Moreuction and no blights or other diseases despite a lot of rainy weather. Taste is good, but not great. Still, if you have a blight problem, this is the best you can do.
