Baptisia, False Indigo 'Lemon Meringue'

An absolute wonderful addition to any garden. I planted four last fall (2012) and they settled in beautifully and bloomed for a long time...Read More this spring. Due to an impending garden move I had to dig all of the baptisias up. The roots were very well established but I was able to successfully dig the plants and even to divide a couple for replanting into a new garden. This variety has smaller leaves than the straight species and tends to be a bit shorter. It can spread but does not seem to be as big as the species. Wonderful introduction!
