In my early days of growing, I wanted a white and vi...Read Moreolet blue bicolor similar to a NOID (probably Optimara) I had successfully grown back in my grad school days.
But I consistently chose Arctic Frost over Iceberg, perhaps because Arctic Frost's flowers were a bit more open-faced than Iceberg's.
But I eventually fell out of love with Arctic Frost, because, for me, it had severe necking issue. It would bloom beautifully and often, but it consistently lost it's lower leaves so that it built up a neck much more quickly than did my other varieties.
After giving up on Arctic Frost ... and after a sufficient waiting period, I decided to try Iceberg. It's a great bloomer, and seems to grow well (hasn't lost any leaves yet). Arctic Frost may have bloomed whiter (i.e. with more white than violet-blue), but we'll see how she blooms over the coming winter.
