Weeding it out is something I dread because the foliage is covered with irritating hairs that cause me to break out in a poison ivy like rash. -I have to wear gloves when weeding and wash with a poison ivy/oak cleanser afterward. I would only recommend using this plant in a water garden where it can be kept contained.
