They are abou...Read Moret the size of an average tea-rose as well, and a very bright shade of white which can be seen far across the yard. I have grown several other Loebner, Kobus and Star magnolias, and this cultivar has the widest sepals by far which, of course, creates the rose illusion. Although in bloom for over a week, the flowers appear to keep their tidy, rather upright appearance. They are not quick to become wide open and 'floppy'. Probably my favorite of this type of magnolia!
