Daylily 'Talladega'

I have talked with o...Read Morethers who have been disappointed with this misleading picture. Though it is a fine daylily, I feel this is close to fraud. It fails to deliver the promise of the picture even though the writing says it is rose red.

Early blooming reds are a treasure in the garden and TALLADEGA is the best we have done to date. This brilliant clear rose red with a pink watermark and white ruffled edging is gorgeous in providing color other than yellow to the early season.

I have always felt that white edging would be stunning in a red flower and TALLADEGA certainly bears this out. TALLADEGA is also one of the few reds I have seen with deep flutes, ruffles and angel wings.
An outstanding flower. Fertile both ways.
