The website for the ...Read MoreInternational Aroid Society says that this plant is difficult to culture and that is correct, especially here in Florida where the temperatures are probably a little too hot for its liking most of the year. It has taken mine a long while to get established, but it finally is growing well. I look forward to the long beautiful "textbook" leaves in the next few years. This plant comes from higher elevations on the upper Amazon and the Andean mountain slopes of Ecuador and prefers cooler temps. The bloom is white with vertical maroon striping. Mine blooms quite a lot so I consider it happy. I have included a photo of the inflo.
