Very soon thereafter we began what became a real battle to control it. Hundreds of volunteers appeared from the tremendous amount of seeds it produces. For five years we have been pulling them out of the ground, putting herbicides on it, digging it up and all manner of efforts to rid our property of this noxiously invasive , though pretty, plant.
