Flavor has slight anise overtones, makes great pesto and great for every other basil use. Never gets bitter, even when flowering. Saw-toothed leaves can get up to 3" long and 2" wide; whole plant is bush shaped, can be 2+ feet tall. Bees and beneficials LOVE the 4-8" tall flower stalks, they could be saved for sachets with their lovely scent. Seeds that land in outdoor plant pots will grow when the plants are brought in for the winter for basil all year long. Also dries well. Fairly drought tolerant--just droops--perks right back with rain; gets no additional water from me here in CT
