Morton Arboretum has a few specimens in Lisle, Illinois. It is native to central China. It becomes a large, rounded, wide-spreading tree. It has nice shiny cherry-like or elm-like leaves. It grows about 1.5 feet/year. It is dioecious with separate male and female trees, but the flowers and fruit are inconspicuous. It makes an interesting, botanical specimen and is rare in the US. It does produce a little rubber compound. It is good for USDA Zones 5a to 7b.
