It is reputed to be highly mildew resistant, and it has never shown any trace of mildew here.
Highly adaptable about soil type or pH.
Propagate by division in early spring, or by rooting stem cuttings.
‘Minnie Pearl’ was discovered growing along the roadside in Kemper, Mississippi by plantswoman Karen Partlow. It is widely believed to be a naturally occurring hybrid of P. maculata x P. glaberrima.
