Miss Saigon is a rich, bright pinkish-purple. It's gorgeous. This is my favorite hyacinth.

In it's second year, the blooms are looser and not the tight bottle-brush shape. This is because the commercial bulb growers remove the flowers for several years before sale to build up the bulb's energy for a very dense and lush flower spike. I think the natural shape is just as beautiful and colorful, though.
