T...Read Morehe base of the trunk is about 7-8 inches in diameter now. It blooms in three quickly successive flushes. Terminal buds first, then larger stem secondary, and then smaller stem secondary. It is three weeks into blooming and I expect at least three more. It has large tropical looking cucumber magnolia leaves in the summer. It may get 5-10 misc flowers late in July but not a lot like some pink magnolias do.
