It grows and looks...Read More best when planted amongst or behind large shrubs or small trees so that it can pop out above them. It responds well to irrigation and fertilization. It doesn't like the cold, but it outgrows any leaf damage quickly. This should be planted more.
Note, it has a large tap root so plant where you never will have to relocate. It is hard to transplant once it has become established and can die easily if the tap root in damaged.
