In another location it's substantially shorter. The hummingbirds love it and I've seen them chasing the bees around and around it.
I'm in zone 6B or so and it's not really supposed to be hardy here but my friend has had it in her yard a few miles away for a few years. And I'm hoping mine will keep coming back.
