Now (spring 2008) it has grown to a pretty tidy round shrub at110 cm. The shrub is aromatic...I love the scent of its foliage. Even with humid weather, but more in warm sunshine it scents the air..a sultry heavy fragrance that makes me long for the sunshine and warmth of France or Italy.. The foliage is a little sticky..but not as sticky as my C. laurifolius that I've grown from seeds. What also is wonderful...'Jenkyn Place' keeps flowering and flowering...over here it even produces flowers when our winter is mild. It's wintergreen and it stays looking pretty ..in spite of all humidity we've had. I can highly re command this shrub. I'll try to obtain a second shrub for my garden.
