Our rose is very light yellow with a mild green tint to it so I can see where it got it's name. It is beautiful and mildly fragrant. It has easily weathered the summers (in the 100s) and the winters (snow and -10 to -20s) without a whimper. It is rather short (never more than 3 ft. tall). Really love it.

It grows slowly and is shorter than the other roses in the row for most of the summer. It survives NE Wisconsin (zone 5) winters if boxed up and buried in ground.
Its best quality is that it bloomed well into the fall. The buds open well even toward the end of October. It was one of my better fall bloomers.
However, this year, after about 5 years in my garden, it did not grow very well and did not produce many blooms. So I culled it at the end of the growing season.
