First blooms start late Spring. Deadhead and snip off dry/dead parts to encourage new growth for second set of blooms. I grow sweet alyssum around the base to provide shade for the vine's roots.

Large Violet-purplish coloured Tepals with a lighter bar and Yellow Anthers. Named after "Luther Burbank" an American Plant Breeder.
