I knew nothing about this variety, and purchased it simply because it was the variety 'Home Depot' offered. Second year it sent up 6 cane...Read Mores, and we are picking fall raspberries from them now (Early Sept. on). The tips flowered, and each axil back from the tip is putting out flowers and fruit. The fruit is very good. It has a tang like a wild raspberry; not just sweet/sugary like many cultivated raspberries. From that one plant planted a year ago we're getting enough berries for cereal for three every morning! It seems to be doing a bit better than the 'Heritage' plant put in at the same time.

It is also an erect early everbearing red r...Read Moreaspberry-no trellis needed-very productive, ripens before caroline-ripens a month before heritage bearing from august through fall-very large very firm flavorful red berries. It is also rated the best raspberry for the upper mid-west as it is cold hardy as well as being tolerant to heat for us southern growers.
