Looks somewhat similar to C ob...Read Morelongata, but has thinner, wimpier leaves that seem more susceptible to injury and mite infestation. Quickly grows into a thin stem with a small disappointing crown of leaves. Only really attractive when young. HAs a BUNCH of synonyms since so common in the wild and somewhat variable. Just about any solitary ovoid-leaved Chamaedorea that is not oblongata, scheidiana or sartori is this. Not overly common in cultivation because of the lack of interest.
