It appears to originate in Cape province, SA. I haven't been able to find any info. even using it's synonyms which I found at this site; http://plants.jstor.org/taxon/Falkia.repens. Curious that it should be in cultivation here in Canada, while neither the worldwide web nor Dave's Garden has anything about it.
