Towards the end of August, some of the surviving plants (a few of the plants had died by this time) started putting on new growth and a few blossoms. By the time frost killed the plants at the end of September, the total yield was 4 ripe tomatoes and 3 green drops. 3 of the ripe tomatoes were extremely bitter tasting.
