Lysionotus Species

This plant is offered through the "Violet Barn" ( @ http://www.violetba...Read Morern.com ). They dont have a picture, but that might just be because they are updateing their website.........I have no experience with this plant, so this is just for a source to get them. If you google the latin name you'll be able to see several images of this plant. Since it is a "tropical" gesneriad I doubt it could take low temps or frosts.

I always check the plant I buy for r...Read Moreoot bound conditions and usually transplant into a One gallon pot, I then move the plant around the yard to see where it might like to live. This plant seems to creep a bit as the pot it is in now, is just about filled in. It is currently beneath the shady side of a banana tree, and seems to be doing quite well. Looking forward to planting it in te ground.
