The young leaves are crinkled and decidedly primula -like.
Germination advice: These seeds need light to germinate: cover potting compost with a thin layer of vermiculite then a ¼" layer of grit. This gives a good basis for seedling growth and then sprinkle the seeds over the grit and wash them in with a fine spray. Germination takes a couple of weeks in the greenhouse, on a windowsill, or in a (not too) shady spot, depending on the season to give a germination temperature of 20°C/70°F.
