Unlike Plum Wine salvia which has been blooming since early May, Raspberry Delight hasn't begun flowering yet. The flowers are on the small side but very striking color.

The usual plant size is about 3 - 4 feet tall and wide and covered with blooms from late spring into fall. The seeds are viable here and have transplanted many seedlings to other spots in the yard. A little particular as to growing conditions --- the soil has to be loose --- no overwatering -- hot sunny place and even growing up on a mound helps. The hummingbirds and bees go crazy for this plant. Grown in this area since about 1990. The plants are even incredible now with autumn blooms.

I believe it's been in this spot going on 4 years now and it's doing great.
This plants grows to about 3' x 3' and is a profuse bloomer from spring until fall. I cut back the foliage in the spring as it begins to show new growth and leave it alone. This is truly a delightful plant.

A wonderful non-stop bloomer and mostly evergreen here. It has gotten about 3' tall and 4' wide for me.
I really love this plant! Planted it Summer 2005 from High Country Gardens and its even more beautiful this Summer! Wonderful overall!
