They are significantly larger now and I am hoping for wonderful blooms when it is their time. I didn't think we could grow them here (zone 4a), but so far they are doing well.
August 2010 -- they are just starting to bloom, and there are lots and lots of buds. I am just enchanted by these tiny orchid-like flowers!
Update 2012 - still love these, and have now been able to divide the existing colony. They do like to be watered consistently, and mine seem to get some brown areas on the leaves, particularly the tips. It doesn't seem to harm the plant, but it interferes with taking good photos.
This perennial plant grows well in my zone 7b shade garden here in Memphis, TN. It has multiplied nicely over the years.
