During the summer of 2010, I had gotten a whole box of these from a friend down the street as she was thinning out her Irises in her own...Read More yard. I decided not being a big Iris fan ..why not they were free, so give it a shot. I planted them in three different areas in my yard where nothing else would really fit in and location where it was hard to maintain other plants and guess what they are doing great! I was never an Iris fan but now that may be changing. Mine are in bloom now and it's May 27th 2011 with more blooms coming. They are about 22inches high from the base to the top of the flower heads, some might be slightly taller and shorter.. I am not 100% gaurunteed these are th Lucy Doodle but all the research I have done looking up these Irises seem to indicate that they are even with the height difference.
