Even though my husband ran over i...Read Moret with the lawn mower, the 2 branches that remained bloomed with unbelievably beautiful pink and white flowers. Gorgeous. Numerous shoots have quickly popped up to replace the couple of leggy ones mowed off! I also have the white form which was beautiful, first with buds of "pearls" for a few weeks, then long lasting flowers. The pink bloomed a bit later and I think it's even prettier than the white! Both are in early morning shade, then sun the rest of the day; sandy-loam soil with nutrient-rich mulch.
BTW, I notice this plant is referred to as "Pink A Boo" also, but I have Pink A Boo and the flowers are much smaller. While it's pretty, it doesn't have the impact as "Magicien", whose flowers are larger. Also my Magicien plant has a sturdier growth habit and appearance than the Pink A Boo. I don't understand why the 2 names are interchanged when they're obviously different varieties of the species.
