Unfortunately, she is fractious - prone to black spot and the only rose in our arc that is stingy with her blooms. A shame as those blooms are humongous and eye-popping when they condescend to appear.

Rosie O'Donnell is a show-stopping, crowd-pleasing, award winning and beautiful rose, a fantastic rose indeed. Highly recommended in Southern gardens, like all hybrid teas will need some fungicide in hot, humid climates. enjoy!

It might have been the fertilizer I applied in early spring, or we're just having a good second year in Sacramento. I'm not sure. Some of our roses are so loaded with blooms, the canes are snapping off at the base of the plant. Bummer!
I have been planting roses for a number of years. This was NOT J&P. This was a Weeks Rose I believe, purchased from a local nursery. The first year was rough, as it is for all roses, but it's really coming up "roses" in our second year.
