"I am in my first season of gardening in Philadelphia, having just moved from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. I have a tiny little rowhouse front stoop, garden, and deck in a hot, humid zone 7b, which is a far cry from the 80 acres of cool, dry I was managing this time last year.
I'd love to meet anyone in the area and learn more about gardening here. I would also love to be a leech and take in any plants people want to share that will work in my spaces. Right now I have a lot of ideas, some dirt, and a few plants I got mail-order. I spent much of the winter clearing out the back "yard" and am about to build my planter boxes for the front." |
