| "Hello! I'm a new bonsai collector (as of July, 2001), having trouble limiting my collection because of limited indoor space. Central Texas (near Waco) is so hot in summer, most of my specimens will have to "winter" indoors during the summer, and have their summer outdoors during all but a month or so of the wintertime when temps plunge to the low 30s. I have a juniperus procumbens nana, two fukien tea trees, a dwarf pomegranate, a dwarf elm (yatsabusa), a couple of small azaleas, and a brand new Japanese umbrella pine. Interested in any growing, feeding, pruning, pinching back tips on these, as well as resources for tools, feeding, pottery, etc." |
