| "Having largely completed (if that's possible) a native plant garden in our front and side yards, I am now trying to create a permaculture garden in the back. The primary purpose of such a garden is to grow food in a sustainable, soil enriching way. So, while I use natives where I can, I also use non-invasive non-natives (such as sterile Russian comfry) to grow as mulch.
