| "Gardening was what I always hoped to do when I retired. We live on 80+ acres of wildwood and meadow, my husband and I, along with a few cats and dogs, a coulpe of horses and a donkey. I'm a disabled retired teacher. My activities include knitting and needlework, pets, good books, our 4 grown daughters and baby granddaughter, and gardening. We're now working on shady areas, a rocky bank, and a vegetable garden. I love foxgloves, day and other lilies, epimediums, clematis, and flowering shrubs.
