"We are so excited, this will be the first year in a long time that we will have time to work in the yard. We have big plans, a smaller budget and endless dreams for what we can accomplish on our perfectly ordinary suburban lot. With a little luck, and if nothing vital breaks, or leaks, or starts on fire, we are hoping to put a pond in this summer.
I have been married 31 years to my high school beau. We have two daughters and a son. Both daughters are teachers, one, married-- with our brand new grandbaby. Our son is in college.
We have 2 dogs and a cat, all of whom are most probably the most spoiled critters on earth. The whole empty nest thing worked to their advantage.
I am most interested in perennials, and it getting the blamed things to bloom in sequence. I frequently have everything blooming at once and then ugh. I took the Master Gardener class this winter and am working on a plan. Until now I have been a buy and plunk wherever there is room gardener." |
