A-Z Tree & Shrub Wholesale Tennessee Nursery

Ordered a tree last year, September 9, 2008, paid for via PayPal immediately. Still nothing, not even an email. No delayed shipping notice. No offer to replace with similar item. NOTHING! I would have accepted anything, pretty reasonable here!! I emailed the addressed given via PayPal with no response. As far as I can tell the website is no longer active and the phone # here is also incorrect as best I can tell. If this company has since gone out of business it needs to be removed from all listings.

i ordered 1 passionvine roots and all paid, with dmail, sent moneyorder, and months pass never got a answer,and ofcource never got my money spend,makes yu mad when bad bussiness is given every penny counts, to bad its in trash ,

I ordered a Rose of Sharon (Red Heart) from this company, and was very pleased with the fast shipping, and with the fact that the shrub arrived in good condition, and although small, flourished after I planted it. Unfortunately, when it began to bloom, they sent me the wrong cultivar. I sent an e-mail to them on September 2, telling them I had recieved the wrong one. It is now October 25th and I have not received any response from them at all.

All beware should you decide to order and send money to A_Z Tree & Shrub Wholesale. After placing an order with this seller I received the following information on 28 August by DMail: Thank you for your recent order! Thank you for your business! A_Z Trees Payment was sent via paypal at which time the following information by was received on 4 September 2008 by Dmail from the seller. I have received your payment, and your order will be shipped soon. I will notify you in this D-Mail when the shipment is sent. Thank you for your business! A_ZTrees After not receiving any further information by the end of September I became suspicious and researched the comments left here concerning this seller and quickly realized I may have thrown my money away. Since I have followed up by both DMAIL and Email, but as of the first week in October no response has been received from this seller. Immediate delivery or a refund has been requested, but I don't expect to see any results so beware if you feel a need to order from this seller. Please pass this information on so others will not allow this company to continue taking their money. What their doing here is fraud. They should be banned from this site as well as any other.

I purchased several plants from this company through their ebay store. I paid for the plants using Paypal and almost immediately got an email from ebay saying they were delisting this store and I should not pay them -- too late. The company said they were shipping the plants in early July, but they never arrived. I sent an e-mail asking for the plants and got another e-mail saying they had shipped the plants but they still didn't arrive. I e-mailed again but received no answer. All phone calls go to an answering machine and no one has called me back. I wonder if they are out of business???

The three crepe myrtles I received were PARTIALLY dead. They were obviously not fresh dug as the add states. Apparently dug quiet a while before shipping. The top part of some of the limbs would snap off revealing no green. Communication was spotty and slow. Not willing to work on a resolution.

Wow I got the best deal on some gigondo roots of Passiflora caerulea they were selling on the DG Marketplace. Took 3 days only shipment time. Recommend this fine seller!

After getting burned by another online company I found Dave's Garden and, after searching through many companies and reviews, took a chance and ordered from A-Z. With so many positive ratings I thought they must be a good company. Unfortunately, I was wrong and got screwed again. I tried a test order of 2 paw paw trees. At first, they impressed me with prompt shipping. When I received them, though, one was stuck down in the mailing tube so that the tip was bent over and broken. I emailed them to let them know and kept them in my cool basement inside their packaging overnight awaiting their response. None came. I decided I better get them planted and so when I did I was pleased to find that there were actually 3 trees in the tube so I thought maybe they knew it was broken and added the 3rd to replace it already. I emailed them and said I now knew about the 3rd tree and to disregard my previous email (even though they had never written back which I thought was not so good). I decided to plant all 3 since I had them. I did read up beforehand on planting paw paws and planted accordingly so I truly don't think it was any wrong doing on my part, but none of the 3 showed one ounce of life. It has been about 3 weeks that they have been in the ground and nothing. About a week ago I emailed again to politely inform them that all were DOA. Nothing. No reply. I searched all over their little website and there is only the one email address. No phone number. I wonder now if all those positive reviews are fake? I notice on almost all positives the reviewer has only 1 review ever. Would there really be that many people making an account on DG just to speak highly of this one company and never any others? Anyway, they have good prices and prompt shipping, but why no communication? And what good are the first two things if they just send dead trees anyway?

Out of 30 or so trees and shrubs I ordered this Spring 2008, only 7 have shown any signs of life 7 weeks after receipt and planting. They all came bare root and a lot of them had no more than 1 or two hair roots, if that much. I was optimistic though and planted them all. It's pretty hard to kill Rugosas but only one of these ever came up. I ordered PawPaws, Chinese Chestnuts, Sweet Shrubs, Rugosas, Barberry and am very disappointed I emailed the seller but they have not responded. I will not order from this com

The ordering process was easy, and I had the plants 5 days later. They were extremely fresh, at an excellent cost! I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for live trees or shrubs.

The promise of more mature (1-3 ft) plants that are dug up and carefully wrapped within 24 hrs of shipping was attractive and more promising than other companies. A-Z really wants their customers' plants to succeed. The prices and combined shipping were the clincher. I have not been disappointed and recommend this nursery to demanding gardeners. Thanks A-Z !!

When I was having trouble with the non-delivery of plants from another company, Rich, from A-Z Tree & Shrub Wholesale Tennessee Nursery, emailed me and offered to fill the other company's order. He said he was not doing it to get publicity. But, hey, you can't ask for a bigger heart than that, or greater service. So I'm giving this the publicity it deserves. It made me think of the days when my grandfather ran his nursery. He always lent a willing hand to folks, ran an honest business and thrived because of his practices. Ordered two Pawpaw whips over eBay. The whole transaction went very well. Mr Pekarz responded quickly to questions and was flexible regarding shipping, etc. The plants were in fine condition and were shipped quickly and packed well.

I really wasn't sure about buying live plants, but I wanted to try so I didn't have to wait for everything to grow from seed this year. Gave me a great deal on 2 Chinese Chestnut Trees and 1 Persimmon Tree. Won a pair of crape myrtles from them on ebay... they arrived packed very well, the size I was expecting and with healthy root systems. My only complaint is that they shipped it on the Thursday before a three day weekend- by the time I got the package Tuesday evening, the terminal tips were already burned. Not a big deal, but the plants reacted like they had been pruned and have started breaking sidebuds even though it is October! Hopefully the damage will be minimal (I am expected our first frost tonight) and they will show a full recovery in the Spring.
