It should only grow 4 feet high and it is not suppose to become invasive but I wouldn't trust this plant.

this is such a lovely plant.I have had it for at least 10 years not invasive here just stunning in the shade

Great leaves on this fast growing clumping perennial but it spreads by runners so can be invasive.

All new spring growth is salmon pink and delightful! This is early fall leaf color.

beautiful red stems....when this plant emerges in spring, look for it's interesting neon pink spikes

Mid-June ...variegated Japanese Knotweed in the garden of Marni 's Nursery (Schimmert-Netherlands)..though pretty and probably 'harmless'..it still gives me the shivers..
